Hand woven rightr angel cross weave into 3D shapes using various sizes of the stones. Viking Wire Weave: Viking wire weaving is an ancient method of creating chain tube with wire. Examples of this method of weaving have been found dating back to as early as the 8th century and as late as the 12th. Created of silver, tin, tin-alloys, and gold, jewelry pieces have been found in many Scandinavian countries, including present-day Norway, Sweden, Gotland, and Denmark. Samples have also been found in Scotland in Viking graves. Linda has learned this ancient form of wire weaving, and has created some unique jewelry.
